Six Months... Done...!

Today I turned SIX MONTHS' OLD!

I think I am turning into quite

the HANDSOME DOG...

At least that's what EVERYBODY says...

Dixie, Dixie, Dixie...

So, it's Dixie's birthday....


 Well, I guess she isn't THAT bad a big sister...

 

Big Dog...!

DIXIE and I went FOR A RIDE with TC and SW to a PARTY.

We like PARTIES.

At the house, though, there was BUSTER.

We'd never met a DOG like BUSTER before...

BUSTER smelled like a DOG.

He looked like a DOG.

But he was SO BIG..!

Bigger than me and DIXIE.

DIXIE wasn't too SURE about BUSTER either,

but soon we were playing CHASE around the yard...

BUSTER wasn't used to running around like DIXIE and I do,

so he got TIRED fast.

BUSTER's not coming HOME with us, right...?

Go, Fetch...!

I am learning to FETCH

It's easy...

You chase the BALL

and you FETCH...

See, I can do it over and over and over again...

FETCH the STICK...?

Sure, I can do that...!

OOPS!! 

You didn't tell me SWIMMING was involved...!!

Maybe, I'll just sit over here and watch for a bit...

Magic Number Twelve

I turned 12 weeks' old today...!

SW says that it's a very SPECIAL day...

I don't know what the excitement is about...

I just keep getting bigger...

My PAWS are getting bigger, and I am starting to JUMP...

My ears are getting bigger, and I can COME when called...

I'm using my NOSE more and can smell when SW or TC has a TREAT!

I know my NAME is DILLON...!

Here's my official 12 week old portrait...

Have Crate, Will Travel

We went FOR A RIDE in the BRT

And it was a LONG RIDE

DIXIE called it a ROAD TRIP

SW and TC put my CRATE in the back of the BRT

along with DIXIE and a LOT of other STUFF

We would RIDE and RIDE and RIDE

then we would STOP and GO POTTY

We made quite the scene...!

DIXIE and I would rest in the back of the BRT

when we stopped...

Time to EAT...!!

Sometimes it would get VERY HOT, and

SW would let me ride inside the BRT...

I LIKE air conditioning...

We went to GRAMMA's.  She and PEPPY had been visiting,

but they had to GO HOME.  It was HOT there too...!

GRAMMA gave me a PRESENT.

It was FUN to PLAY with on the ride home...

We also got to stay at a PET FRIENDLY HOTEL.

DIXIE says HOTELS are FUN.

She likes the ELEVATORS.

I LIKE staying close to SW and TC.

I LIKE GOING FOR A RIDE in the BRT!

This is DIXIE and ME in NAPA.

Having Company

This is PEPPY.  He belongs to GRAMMA,

and they are VISITING.

There's something different about PEPPY...

He's real OLD... but there's something else....

 

Something I can't quite figure out...

What is THAT?!?

I don't have one and DIXIE doesn't have one...

the CATS have one, but PEPPY is not a CAT...!

Excuse me, PEPPY, but how do you walk with that thing?

And why does it keep moving?

Guess I'll never know....

We like having PEPPY to play with...!

And, I love playing with GRAMMA...!

Settling In

Sorry, I haven't written in a couple of days,

but it's because I have been so busy getting used to my new HOME.

SW and TC (tall and cool) have me RUNNING around all over the place with them.

See, I can help pick VEGETABLES from the garden...

(they're not YUMMY, I tried one...)

I have my ROUTINE:

MEEMEES which means NAP TIME;

then it's TIME TO EAT.  

I have to be a GOOD BOY and SIT.

I do very good at SIT though it's HARD because I am so HUNGRY!

After it's TIME TO EAT, then it's TIME TO GO POTTY.

TC and SW are very happy and call me GOOD BOY when I go POTTY OUTSIDE.

I don't know why, but they do and that makes me HAPPY.

Then it's PLAY TIME then MEEMEES then...

well, you know...

The only problem is everywhere I go DIXIE goes too!

She even watches me while I go MEEMEES... creepy...!

But then we go MEEMEES together in the JEEP when we

GO FOR A RIDE.  And that's NICE...

And, we PLAY TOGETHER all the time,

and that's the BEST part...!

I think I like this new FAMILY...!
